FAQ

How do I get started?

Simply press the “Get Started” button and we will personally contact you.

Where are you located?

We are located in Nolensville, Tennessee.

Do I need a guitar?

Yes. We start our program on acoustic guitars to develop hand strength the first year, and then students begin to move onto electric as well.

Can I get a guitar through you?

Although we don’t rent or sell guitars, we will help you easily find a great and affordable guitar. Just call or text Mike at 615-319-2596.

What do lessons cost?

Our team classes are 1 hour long and are $30.  We meet once a week.

Are there any other costs?

We have an annual registration fee of $30.00 which covers each student’s binder and copies for the year.

When do you meet?

We meet after school on Mondays through Thursdays.

Is there a performance?

Yes, we have an annual guitar concert in May for everyone in the guitar academy.

Do you teach electric guitar?

Yes, absolutely. We like to wait at least a year so that students can develop good hand strength and technique before moving to electric. Our intermediate and advanced classes play both acoustic and electric.

What if I miss a class?

No problem. We always have at least 2 classes at the same level which lets our students easily make up in a similar level class.

What styles do you teach?

Everything. You name it, we play it.

Will we learn to read music?

Yes. Our classes incorporate plenty of guitar tablature reading so students can play exciting music from the beginning. As they progress, we will also teach standard notation through learning classical pieces.

When does each semester/session end?

Our classes are on-going from early August through mid May. We take a summer break and private lessons are available on your own schedule at that time. We generally follow the Williamson County School calendar for days off during the school year.

Can parents stay for the classes?

Absolutely.

What if I want to stop lessons?

All we ask is for 30 days notice.

What is the age range?

We start our students at 7 and go through senior year of high school.

What experience do I have to have?

We offer different levels of classes starting from very beginner all the way to extremely advanced.
